By now you’ve certainly seen the difference between a standard television picture and high definition (HD). That same boost in clarity is now available in eyeglass lenses. iZon™ lenses provide the clearest, most vivid vision available today.
We have been offering iZon™ lenses to select patients for several years, but iZon™ has recently expanded their lens line and is now available in almost any prescription and lens design.
iZon™ lenses provide better vision by correcting for irregularities in the vision system that are not addressed by standard lenses. An iZon™ prescription is based on your unique iPrint™, which is comprised of thousands of data points measured by the Z-View Aberrometer. No two eyes have the same iPrint™. By contrast, traditional eyeglass prescriptions are based on only three primary parameters, thus they are not as custom fit to each eye’s unique qualities.
So what is HD vision like? It is clearer, more vivid vision with enhanced contrast and less glare. In fact, an independent study with an FDA validated night driving simulator showed iZon™ lens wearers were even able to detect, recognize and react to a pedestrian in the road quicker, resulting in a 20 foot difference in stopping the car when driving 55 mph.

I was very pleased with my new iZon High Resolution Progressives from the first moment that I put them on. Everything was so much sharper and brighter from near to far, and in-between. I had no trouble driving home, working on the computer and reading the newspaper from day one.
On day two, I went golfing with them on. That's when I realized I was actually seeing in higher definition and more three dimensional than ever before. I saw the golf ball clearly at address and easily tracked it in the air and saw clearly where it landed. The new lens seemed to accentuate the curvature of the greens so it was easier to read the breaks correctly.
